This seminar will be given by Cormac Keenan, a PhD candidate at Dublin City University, whose research examines the experiences of veterans and caregivers of the Irish Civil War. Cormac’s presentation will be entitled ‘Caring for ill veterans: Family dynamics and challenges after the Irish Civil War (1922-23)’, and if you have any interest in histories of veterancy, disability, caregiving, or Ireland (or just wish to support a postgrad!), please join us to hear more about this fascinating research.
