HaCC Visiting Scholars belong to institutions in the UK and abroad. They have joined HaCC colleagues to share their research and develop collaborations with members.

Dr Tom Allbeson (Cardiff University), November 2026: ‘Visual Histories, Visual Politics: Researching Mid-Twentieth Century Photography’. Dr Allbeson’s research concerns media history and visual culture in contemporary Europe and the US with specialisms in photojournalism and conflict, visual culture and reconstruction, collective memory in post-conflict societies, and urban history.; https://profiles.cardiff.ac.uk/staff/allbesont

Dr Graham Macklin (Center for Research on Extremism, Norway), December 2026: A contribution to the MA unit Terrorism and Political Violence. Dr Macklin is a researcher at the Center for Research on Extremism (C-Rex), University of Oslo, Norway. Dr Nicholas Morton (Nottingham Trent University), April 2027: ‘The Knights Templar and the Third Crusade’.
